The Hawaiian Cannabis Ministry * ( www.THC-Ministry.org ) * Cultivation and enjoyment of Cannabis sacrament is a fundamental human right provided by God and protected by the Constitution.
It is the THC Ministries opinion that Cannabis is the original sacrament of Hebrew, Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Shinto,
Buddhist, Rasta and more, and fulfills the prophesies to 'feed all our hungers'. The THC Ministry provides a real education
in practical Cannabis spirituality which, among other wonderful things, will help to protect you from arrest, prosecution
and/or conviction of 'marijuana' charges - wherever you live - starting as soon as you sign-up, become ordained and receive
your ministry documents. They provide what they beleive to be a legitimate religious 'defense to prosecution' for sincere
people over 21 years old.

Where necessary, Patients are referred to one of 20 physicians here in Maui County, who screen and certify a patient's need
for marijuana. They ask all new patients to talk with their own family physician first, it is always best that your primary
physician knows everything that you are doing medically. They are also available to answer any questions that your doctor
may have about medicinal marijuana and the license procedure.

SUMMARY: Governor
Ben Cayetano signed Senate Bill 862 into law on June 14, 2000. The law took effect on December 28, 2000. The law removes state-level
criminal penalties on the use, possession and cultivation of marijuana by patients who possess a signed statement from their
physician affirming that he or she suffers from a debilitating condition and that the "potential benefits of medical use of
marijuana would likely outweigh the health risks." Patients diagnosed with the following illnesses are afforded legal protection
under this act: cachexia; cancer; chronic pain; Crohn’s disease; epilepsy and other disorders
characterized by seizures; glaucoma; HIV or AIDS; multiple sclerosis and other disorders characterized
by muscle spasticity; and nausea. Other conditions are subject to approval by the Hawaii Department of Health.
Patients (or their primary caregivers) may legally possess no more than one ounce of usable marijuana, and may cultivate no
more than seven marijuana plants, of which no more than three may be mature. The law establishes a mandatory, confidential
state-run patient registry that issues identification cards to qualifying patients. To date, about 200 cards have been issued. Visit: http://www.norml.org/index.cfm?Group_ID=4533&wtm_view=medical

“Medical cannabis outlook clarified” By Ken Kobayashi, Advertiser Courts Writer. “U.S.
Attorney Ed Kubo says he won't seek from the state a list of doctors who certify marijuana use for their patients and he won't
prosecute the physicians just because they recommend the drug use. But, Kubo says, doctors could face prosecution if, for
example, they certify marijuana use for a condition that is not "debilitating" as required under the state medical marijuana
law; direct a patient to get marijuana from a street dealer; or give a patient a sample of marijuana.” The Honolulu Advertiser

Judge Bans Prosecution of Doctors Who Prescribe Marijuana Dateline: 9/10/00.
A California federal judge has ruled that the federal government cannot prosecute doctors who recommend or prescribe
marijuana for medically valid treatment of patients. On Friday, Sept. 8, 2000, U.S. District Court Judge William Alsup in
San Francisco issued a permanent injunction banning the federal government from taking any action, including investigation,
leading to the revocation of a physician's license "merely because the doctor recommends medical marijuana to a patient based
on a sincere medical judgment." Visit: http://usgovinfo.about.com/library/weekly/aa091100a.htm
